In celebration of the recent antifascism anthology, No Pasaran: Antifascist Dispatches from a World in Crisis from AK Press and the IAS, editor Shane Burley is holding a conversation with two contributors. Daryle Lamont Jenkins is a longtime antifascist organizer and founder of the One People’s Project and Margaret Rex is a sociologist and former organizer with Students for a Democratic Society and Metro Justice. They will be talking about how the history of antifascism is going to influence our future, the role of family in deradicalization and their potential culpability in far-right violence, and how we can build a social movement that is simultaneously defense-focused and compassionate.

The event is totally free and you can just use the below meeting links to join. The conversation will begin as just between the three panelists and then will open up to attendees for questions. The event is hosted by Burning books in Buffalo, New York, so pick up your copy there and support independent publishing and booksellers!
